Timberlake’s clothing company honoured
March 12th, 2011 - 2:07 pm ICT by IANSLondon, March 12 (IANS) Singer-actor Justin Timberlake’s clothing company, William Rast, has been named brand of the year by American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA).
“We are thrilled to honour such a dynamic, exciting brand as William Rast. They, along with our other honorees, represent the best in leadership and innovation within the industry,” an AAFA statement said.
Contactmusic.com reports that the pop star, who announced his split from actress Jessica Biel this week, stepped into the fashion world in 2006 by launching his own company with his pal Trace Ayala.
Timberlake will be bestowed with the honour at next month’s 33rd Annual American Image Awards, organised by AAFA.
