May 2nd, 2011 - 7:36 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, May 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Swedish student has been given the ‘honor’ to test beaches around the world and report them on a blog. Asa Dejus was reportedly one of the many applicants that applied for the job from Swedish National Public Employment Service.
Amelia magazine which is a Swedish women’s lifestyle magazine say by being offered the job, Asa will spend four weeks testing beaches around the world. Asa will then write her experiences in a blog.
Asa is ecstatic about the job. To her she is going to be paid for having a “dream vacation” throughout the world. When the job was advertized, many people thought it might be an April fool’s prank because it was too close to the date. Some also found it to be too good to be true.
According to Asa, she applied for the job despite doubting its authenticity. The job was advertized in Amelia in March. The commercial promised that the successful candidate will travel round the world and test wines and sleep on beaches as part of the job. The person will then narrate the experience on a blog.
Asa’s new job was first reported by local newspapers on Friday.
