Satya Paul coming up with a more economic line
March 16th, 2011 - 1:14 am ICT by IANSMumbai, March 15 (IANS) Premium dressing brand Satya Paul, which is beyond the common man’s reach, will soon come up with a line more economically priced to reach out to a wider range of consumers.
“Satya Paul will be having a line where people will be able to wear Satya Paul daily,” Jyoti Narula, managing director of Genesis Colours which owns the brand, told reporters at the Lakme Fashion Week.
The brand showcased “Jwell on the Sea” collection which includes an exciting mix of saris, lehengas, gowns, kaftan and cocktail dresses.
The rich and exotic line comprised of vibrant colours, printing techniques, embellishments and styling
“It’s inspired by marine lines and the beauty of the sea. The collection is embellished with ultramarine, multimarine and X-Ray Marine components and the colours are predominantly blue, black and white,” said Narula.
“Satya Paul is a brand that stands for colours. Whenever you see bright vibrant colours, you can think Satya Paul. So that kind of signature we would always continue to showcase,” he added.
Former Miss India turned actor Sarah Jane Dias walked the ramp for Satya Paul and she mentioned that she loved to represent the brand.
“It’s not for the first time I am walking for Satya Paul. It began when I won Miss India in 2007. Satya Paul styles are very unique and I would love to stay associated with it for ever,” she said.
Narula said: “Sarah has enthralled us by doing absolute justice to her dress. It was a pleasure that she walked the ramp for us and we would look forward to the same for many more years.”
