Reno, Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A recent survey of ‘Men’s Health Magazine’, has released the name of one hundred drunkest cities of the United States and it is quite surprising that Las Vegas, which is known for its casinos and pubs has not topped the list. According to the reports, Reno, which is also known as the “Biggest Little City” has claimed the number one spot on this list. It has not only pushed back Las Vegas but also New Orleans, which is known to be one of the best destinations for parties and entertainment.

It has been reported that the rankings of the drunkest cities has been declared after observing several factors like “frequency of binge drinking” in a period of one month, number of drunken driving cases leading to accidents, number of DUI arrest, number of patients suffering from liver disease for alcohol consumption and strictness of DUI penalty. Though the reports have been issued after judging all these factors, Ron Finfer, a certified counselor, who operates one of the Ability Counseling and DUI Schools of Reno, has not approved these rankings.

Ron Finfer said that he has worked closely with many judges and is confident about the felony DUI program of the city. Therefore, it is not possible for him to accept the rankings of the magazine. Though he did not accept the rankings, he said that the ranking can be true only if the tourists are taken in to account. As per the reports, the March issue of the ‘Men’s Health Magazine’ will feature the rankings.
