Now luxury awards by Vu Technologies
July 20th, 2011 - 3:19 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 20 (IANS) Vu Technologies, a brand that deals in home entertainment, has decided to organise Vu Luxury Awards to felicitate excellence in the field of luxury.
The Vu Luxury Awards, to be held in Mumbai this October, is conceptualized by the team at Vu Technologies in collaboration with the Luxury Society, a high-end community promoting luxury efforts globally.
“We have many luxury brands doing some great work in India but their contributions to the luxury market in the country have gone largely unnoticed. With the luxury awards, Vu and the Luxury Society hope to create a platform that not only pays homage to the work done, but also provides a forum for discussion and debate about the future of luxury in the country,” said Devita Saraf, CEO of Vu Technologies.
The official auditor of award ceremony is Ernst & Young, which will short-list the nominees and winners.
The different categories of luxury that will be honoured at the upcoming awards include Automobiles, Perfumes and Cosmetics; Fashion and Style; Jewellery and Watches; Accessories; Jet Service and Airlines; Food and Restaurants; Holiday Resorts; Spas; and Home Furnishings and Living.
The winners in each category will be selected by members jury from different fields like corporate, film, fashion and lifestyle.
As part of the ceremony, the award function is also planning a set of Consumer’s Awards, where users will get the opportunity to vote for nominated brands.
