No Louis Vuitton store in Tokyo
December 17th, 2008 - 7:59 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 17 (IANS) Plans for Louis Vuitton’s flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district have been withdrawn.It was planned to be a 10-floor shopping emporium, but the luxury fashion group has reportedly broken off talks with developers Hulic Co Ltd. regarding the store’s opening, which was due to be in 2010, reports vogue.co.uk.
Yuri Matsueda of Burson-Marsteller, who is the public relations agent for Louis Vuitton in Japan, said: “We have not been able to reach an agreement with Hulic on a store development project in Ginza.”
