trr1Nov 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Those in the automotive industry who had thought that Nissan played a gamble with the Juke earlier better do a rethink. The latest model of the company that is going to be showcased at the Los Angeles International Auto Show 2010 is even more daring. The Nissan Murano Convertible CrossCabriolet’s first pictures have been released. Nissan on its part has not specified whether the crossover car uses a retractable hard top or soft top. The Crossover Murano Convertible will be sold in 2011 the company has said in a recent statement. With the Murano Nissan has again proved that it is not afraid of experimenting with vehicle design. The longer front doors of the model do give it a different look but it may not go down well with all.

The Murano had a sporty look in its second generation and the new model features a boomerang taillight inspired by the 370Z. It gives the rear part of the car a stylish look. The car can comfortably accommodate four passengers in it. However, the car maker says that the new Murano Convertible has enough space at its back to accommodate golf bags and other luggage. The earlier versions of Murano proved that the rear passengers do not have any reason for complaint.

Similar to the existing models of Murano the 2011 Crossover variant is likely to be shipped with 3.5-liter 260-horsepower engine. However, it is not known if the weight of the top will affect its performance or if it does, by what extent. The details of the 2011 Murano will be known on Nov 17th which is its official debut date.
