Kathmandu, June 12 (ANI): The Nepali Congress (NC) and the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) have agreed to the adjust and rehabilitate of the Maoist combatants through proper modality before the Maoists take the lead to form a new Government in Nepal.
According to Nepalnews, the discussion between the two parties held at UML’s parliamentary party office on Wednesday concluded an understanding that a definite process, modality and timetable should be developed for Peoples Liberation Armys adjustment before the government formation.
The United Nations Mission in Nepal has identified over 19,000 Maoist combatants in seven cantonments.
The parties stressed on the need of modality of integration which they said have not been stated in the agreement on management of arms and armies of the Government and the Maoists. (ANI)
