bugattix-wide-community Oxnard, Aug 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard have placed on display a 1936 Bugatti car that was sold recently between the amount of $30 million to $40 million.

The car was one of only three that were ever made in history. Lord Victor Rothschild of London originally owned the car. Lord Victor Rothschild sent the car back to the manufacturers to supercharge the car for him in 1939. However the car was sold to another owner, Dr. Peter Williamson in 1971 for an amount of $59,000. After acquiring the car, Dr. Williamson restored the car.

The car again had another owner in May this year. An unidentified buyer made away with at least $30 million for the car in a deal that was reached by Gooding & Co. It is however not clear exactly how much the new owner of the car paid for the car.

The museum however says they are not certain how long the car will be displayed at the museum. The car has been on display at the museum since Tuesday.
