Money Magazine Reveals The Best Places To Live In The United States

July 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Money Magazine has just revealed its list of the best places to live in in the United States and Eden Prairie in Minnesota has received the maximum number of votes to win the first position on the list. According to the magazine, Eden Prairie shows a much lower unemployment rate when compared to the other cities in the US and this is the chief factor which has made the city the popular choice to live in. The figures released by the Money Magazine reveals that the rate of the unemployed is a mere 5.1% in Eden Prairie while it rises above 10% in most other states. Thus people in Eden Prairie are economically sound even in a recession hit America.
Ranked second in the list of best places to live in the United States is Elliot City, the place which is marked by a number of good restaurants. Elliot City too shows a very low rate of unemployment which is just 0.1% higher than that of first rank holder Eden Prairie. While Elliot City was ranked number 8 on the list in the year 2008, it has shown a very rapid progress in the recent past.
The representatives of the Money magazine announced in a statement released after the list was revealed that very strict standards were followed while enlisting the names of places this year. While the economy of the place was on of the chief judging factors, the standard of education in the city, the safety and crime rates were also taken into consideration while preparing the list.
