Lights festival begins in UAE
February 10th, 2011 - 1:35 am ICT by IANSSharjah, Feb 12 (IANS/WAM) The Sharjah authorities will celebrate a nine-day Lights Festival from Thursday to promote tourism in the United Arab Emirates.The festival, organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, will be inaugurated by the Sharjah ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.
All tourists spots such as historical buildings, museums and official buildings will be decorated with different colours of lights.
