Kids named Megan, Rory ‘likely to be naughty’
December 5th, 2009 - 6:31 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Dec 5 (ANI): If kids named Megan and Rory want Christmas presents this year, they need to be on their best behaviour, for a new poll has revealed that youngsters with these names are most likely to cause mischief.
But children with names Frances and Shaun can look forward to bundles of presents, as they are the most well behaved, says the study which analysed good behaviour and awarded achievement stickers to more than 62,000 pupils online throughout the UK.
According to the research’s findings, boys named Shaun, Calum, Ali, Brandon and Samuel were the most likely to receive the rewards, along with girls named Frances, Kelly, Stacey, Eve and Aisha, reports The Telegraph.
But boys named Rory, Harvey, Bob, Tyler and Brad, and girls named Megan, Georgie, Izzy, Jess and Joanna were the least likely to receive the awards.
Henry Shelford, chief executive of School Stickers said: “Obviously young people are all unique and just because a child’s called Megan or Rory does not necessarily mean they’re going to be little terrors.
“Equally parents with children named Frances and Shaun should not assume they have little angels. This is a light-hearted and fun study, but one that highlights the value of rewarding pupils who try hard and behave well.” (ANI)
