Katie Holmes becomes face of Ann Taylor

London, Jan 12 (IANS) Actress Katie Holmes has been named as the new face of American fashion house Ann Taylor.Holmes will front the fashion house’s spring 2011 advertising campaign, which will begin in March.
The nautical inspired collection will see a number of classic designs from the brand, including tailored trousers, sleek jackets and lots of navy and white stripes.
“I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl - I grew up loving the clothes. I’m thrilled to be a part of a brand I believe in,” contactmusic.com quoted Holmes as saying.
“I applaud women who are doing their best to be the best versions of themselves and who are working really hard. And I’m glad that there is a store like Ann Taylor that can offer amazing styles for the many different roles that women play.”
Actress Naomi Watts and model Heidi Klum have previously appeared in advertisements for the brand.
