Jimmy Choo to create crystal shoes for anniversary
November 25th, 2010 - 1:07 am ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 24 (IANS) Luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a range of crystal shoes, entitled the Crystal Anniversary collection.
The brand’s signature jewelled shoes are to be updated and reissued for the Crystal Anniversary collection with the accompanying imagery to be shot by renowned photographer and painter Marilyn Minter, reports contactmusic.com.
“In celebrating our 15 years, I wanted to create a modern glamour that stands for the style and imagination of Jimmy Choo. I was inspired by vintage jewellery to add sparkling and luminous details to iconic Jimmy Choo shapes.
“I have long been a collector and a fan of Marilyn’s work and know that she can capture the essence of my vision,” said Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer of Jimmy Choo.
