Is romance dying in your relationship? Blame it on your man
April 14th, 2011 - 3:05 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 14 (ANI): A study has found that romance is dying because men have lost the art of wooing their other halves.
It found that most women have not received a surprise gift from their partner for more than a year.
And one in five woman has given up waiting for flowers, so buys her own.
A survey of 1,176 adults in relationships by Sheilas’ Wheels insurance company, found chivalry fading fastest among young men. One in 10 under 25 had passed off an unwanted gift as a present for their partner.
More than half of young women either paid or split the bill on a first date. And only three per cent forgot an anniversary compared with 10 per cent of men.
“Gifts are an important way of keeping love alive and should be about the thought, not the price,” the Daily Express quoted Jacky Brown, of Sheilas’ Wheels, as saying. (ANI)
