Indian Fashion Carnival postponed
September 4th, 2010 - 3:04 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Sep 4 (IANS) The Indian Fashion Carnival, slated to be held in this West Bengal capital Sep 10-12, has been postponed indefinitely, organisers said Saturday.
Mindscapes One, the organiser of the event, said the event has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and operational difficulties.
“The event has been postponed for the time being due to certain unavoidable circumstances and operational difficulties, but we promise to return to you soon to announce the new dates,” Mindscapes One director Pratik Sen said in a statement.
Khadi and other natural fibres were to be the highlight of the carnival. Designers like Bibi Russell, Zubair Kirmani, Vinit Agarwal and Soumitro Mondal were to showcase their creations in it.
