Himachal governor enjoys magic show
June 19th, 2011 - 9:25 pm ICT by IANSShimla, June 19 (IANS) Renowned magician Samrat Shankar Sunday performed for Himachal Pradesh Governor Urmila Singh, an official statement said here.
The governor witnessed the magic show at the historical Gaiety Theatre. She evinced keen interest in the show and congratulated him for entertaining the people of Shimla, especially children, a statement said.
Government officials said Urmila Singh and her family enjoyed the magic show for more than two hours.
The magician also shared his experiences with her after the show.
Samrat Shankar, one of the world-class magic performers in the country, is on a show tour in Shimla.
