Hello Kitty And Smart Car Team Up

The wrap is undoubtedly cute but will it really be able to attract the more macho auto lovers across the country? Sanrio, the hello Kitty brand owner is however delighted with the outcome. The president of Sanrio, Inc., Janet Hsu, says that it is the first time that a Hello Kitty car is being offered in the United States. The joint collaboration between Hello Kitty and Smart Cars will give the fans across the nation an opportunity of embracing the lifestyle now.
Smart had teamed up with the Hello Kitty owner for the wraps that are now available through ‘Smart Expressions’ the car’s brand that was initialized this summer.
The move might not be so crazy either! In fact, it might just be an extremely smart move made by Smart. The Smart programme is now being offered together with the licensed brands. Both the brands Smart as well as Hello Kitty have their own fan followings and it is now time to bring the fan bases together said Kim McGill, the vice president of marketing at Smart USA.
Smart Expressions offer three different body designs each with a number of color schemes apart from several designs for partial wraps in various colors.
These special Hello Kitty wrapped cars are likely to make their appearance on the occasion of Santario’s 50th anniversary which coincides with the Fall. Vehicle wraps are now available at $1500 but Hello Kitty has had a limited release so far.
