Heidi Klum to launch own perfume

London, Jan 21 (IANS) German supermodel Heidi Klum has teamed up with cosmetic firm Coty Beauty to release her own fragrance, Shine.Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty, said: “Heidi has a unique position in the market. She is not just a supermodel or a celebrity - she is also a businesswoman. She is very multifaceted - we plan to create a fragrance which celebrates all of those facets.”
Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, says they chose Klum because she appealed to a wide range of people.
“She is a complete woman, very modern. She is an entrepreneur; she is a showgirl. Her role on ‘Project Runway’ has given her a strong bond with the consumer,” contactmusic.com quoted Semerari as saying.
