Heath Ledgers Brooklyn bar set to openSeptember 13th, 2008 - 2:41 pm ICT by ANI
Washington, Sep 13 (ANI): Heath Ledgers bar, Five Leaves, in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, is set to open on the 17 th of September almost 8 months after the actor’’s untimely death.
The Brokeback Mountain actors close ones have contributed in setting up the actors dream bar.
“It’’s all meant to be a super casual California- and Australia-tinged cafe, coffeehouse and oyster bar, with greenmarket snacks,” People magazine quoted a critic for UrbanDaddy.com, as saying.
With steel light fixtures and wire concoctions that seem right out of a lab, Five Leaves resembles a bar that Thomas Edison might have built for his buddies, according to the review.
The door to the bar’’s bathroom is a “massive, ”20s-era boiler room door,” the review added.
Heath, who died of a drug overdose at the age of 28, had financially backed the bar when he was alive. (ANI)
