Dec.22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) TLC showed a special one hour show named Little Chocolatiers on 21st December. The show featured Katie Masterson and Steve Hatch who own the Hatch Family Chocolates in Salt Lake City. The wife and husband manage the business. They make custom designed chocolates for ceremonies like wedding and anniversary for their clients. The show was a special one and it will be shown as six part series in the next year.

However, the couple who run the business are not like any other reality show participants. They are below 4 feet. Therefore they need to use foot stool sometimes to make cakes that are taller and bigger in size. They also need to finish some assignments with more speed to stick to the deadlines. In the premiere show they made a huge cake for a regional client. In fact it was a big sized garden made of chocolates. However, such projects can go haywire when the air conditioner conks off. The chocolates can melt and they need to begin everything from the scratch again.

However, the show is not only about making chocolates. There is something about the couple that draws the attention of the viewers. They are warm and kind hearted. The viewers can relate to them easily and get involved with them on a mental level. The chocolates they make are simply delicious and it keeps the clients coming back to them over and again. The show is likely to find favor with the viewers when it takes the form of a series in 2010 because of its unique format and appeal.
