Several possible remedies have been tested to actually help relieve the affects of a hangover and some have been know to cure the hangover. Although it is no guarantee that these remedies will help you it may be worth a try.
Retaining fluids such as water or fruit juice will help to keep you hydrated. Drinking water or even juice in-between alcoholic beverages is an excellent way to stay hydrated.
Vitamin B6 or B12 can be beneficial since alcohol will deplete your body of these vitamins. A good source for the vitamins are green leafy vegetables like broccoli and bell peppers eating before and after drinking alcohol beverages.
Eating the vegetable asparagus before and after consuming alcohol has been linked to preventing hangovers by breaking down alcohol in you body and providing much needed enzymes.
Ginger can help get rid of the nausea feeling often associated with hangovers.
To avoid a hangover it is best to not consume alcoholic drinks which is the best cure ever. But if you must these remedies may be helpful in curing or helping to relieve your hangover.
