Los Angeles, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brazilian model, Gisele Bundchen, has denied ever calling sunscreen as poison.

The star is on tour to promote her line of skincare products. The model came under a lot of criticisms after she was quoted as saying that sunscreens are poison.

The report claimed that Bundchen said, “I cannot put this poison on my skin. I do not use anything synthetic”. The comment was reportedly against applying sunscreen.

However her publicist was quick to deny the report. The publicist said that due to the language barrier, the reporters misquoted Bundchen. The publicist said what Bundchen originally told the reporters did not imply that she avoids the use of sunscreens because some members of her family had developed skin cancer. She always wants to keep her skin natural. Because of that, she avoids going out on certain times of the day to avoid the intensity of the sun. That gives her the luxury to buy sunscreens that have low chemicals in them. She denied ever calling the products “poisonous”.

The 30-year-old who is married to NFL quarterback Tom Brady was pictured last week partying with Alessandra Ambrosio in Sao Paolo during the Fashion Week in the city.
