Girls outshine boys again in CBSE class X results

New Delhi , May 29 (ANI): Once again girls outshone boys in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class X exams, as 87.96 per cent girls passed the exam while the boys had a pass percentage of 86.46.

Out of the six regions, Chennai topped the list of pass percentage with 95.26 per cent followed by Ajmer scores 94.22 percent, Allahabad 89.10, Panchkula 89.07, Delhi 82.87 and Guwahati scored 57.29.

A total of 7,65,095 students, including 4,49,742 boys had appeared for the exams that were held in March.

In Delhi region, 2, 19,796 students had registered for the exam. The exam was conducted at 2,624 centres across the country.

The results will be put up on the website www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbse.results.nic.in.

The CBSE had already declared results of the Chennai region on Tuesday. (ANI)
