Forever 21 Eyes Expansion In Europe And Asia

Forever 21Dublin, May 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the arrival of US based all female apparel store Forever 21, the fashion scene in Ireland and especially Dublin is going to get spiced up soon. The Los Angeles-based company was in news recently after Justin Bieber, the teenage Canadian pop sensation came to its store for buying something for his mother. It is going to open its first European store in November this year and the preparations are in full swing. The store will be opened at Jervis centre of Dublin. In recent time sit completed the paperworks for leasing the place. If the industry sources are to be believed, Forever 21 has churned out an amount of 2.75 million to get an area amounting to 70,000sq ft. The lease will be for 20 year duration.

Fortune 21 owns 500 outlets in various countries of the world and its turnover goes in excess of $2.3 billion. The first outlet of Forever 21 was inaugurated in 1984 and its first shop outside California in 1995. On an average the brand opens 90 new outlets each year. The company is eyeing Europe and Asia for expanding its business. It is likely to open new shops in London and some other European cities like Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Madrid in near future. The brand created sensation in 1984 when it opened its first shop in Los Angeles. HM and Zara are its main rivals.

The brand has also made foray in major Asian countries like Japan in recent times. The flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district is the one the company is counting on a lot for its success in the new market.
