Expedia’s list for top hotels of 2011 is out
May 26th, 2011 - 11:07 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, May 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Expedia has come out with its list of top hotels for 2011. The list which is called Expedia Insiders’ Select™ list ranks hotels based on the quality of their service delivery.
The list of 500 hotels is selected from about 130,000 hotels which are featured on Expedia. The company is the largest online travel agency and they have range of hotels throughout the world that they offer to their clients. Expedia uses the feedback from their clients to rank the hotels. For this year’s list, the company received about 500,000 guest reviews.
This year’s list was dominated by hotels in the United States and Italy. A hotel in the United States made it on top of the list for this year.
Cedarbrook Lodge in the United States was recognized as the top-ranked hotel in the list. Italy’s iQ Hotel Roma was second on the list with Hotel Antiche Figure and Hotel Berchielli coming in third and fourth respectively. Both hotels are located in Italy. The Japanese hotel Monterey Kyoto was fifth in the list with Nines coming in sixth on the list.
Les Terres M Barka, K&K Hotel Central, Hotel Teatro and Sofitel New York completed the top ten list.
