New Delhi, May 14 (IANS) Book your dates for the Delhi Couture Week, as the extravagant and grand fashion event is all set to take place July 15-18.
Sources have confirmed that all Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) participants have received a letter from the fashion body to show their interest in the Delhi Couture Week which will take place in The Grand in Vasant Kunj.

Though the list of the participating designers will be announced shortly, president of FDCI, Sunil Sethi has maintained that it will be on a much bigger level and selection of the designers will be very stringent.

Before this, FDCI has successfully organised two editions of HDIL Couture Week in Mumbai which was Bollywood driven.

The reason for having another one in the capital is because most of the couture designers are based here and a lot of money is spent on the wedding couture.

Delhi has been host to 15 editions of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW), and one edition of the Delhi Fashion Week (DFW) and the Van Heusen India Men’s Week (VHIMW).
