London, Nov 20 (IANS) Actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are the latest stars to back a charity campaign to help hungry Americans.
They have filmed public service announcements (PSAs) for Feeding America, a non-profit organisation that aims to help impoverished citizens.
“Do you realise that 49 million Americans struggle with hunger? That’s one out of every six Americans. These people are around us every day; they’re our friends, our co-workers, their kids go to school with our kids.
“Sometimes we’re not even aware that they’re struggling. This problem is closer than you think - so is the solution,” dailystar.co.uk quoted Affleck as saying.
Singers like Tim McGraw, Beyonce and Rihanna have also volunteered to work for Feeding America.
