New York, May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new Barbie doll that is quite ‘busty’ has created a huge controversy. The doll is pretty busty and is also revealing her assets in a very low cut dress. Parents are miffed with the new version of the doll, and some of them even went to the extent of saying that the doll would do more harm than good to their children. Young girls emulate Barbie to quite an extent, and if they try copying the busty Barbie also, then the parents and the children are surely in for some trouble.

According to a parent, “I doubt my daughter’s going to have it and I don’t want her to think that she has to be this busty Barbie, constantly wearing these heels and these low cut shirts and that’s really the image that for a doll that you’re going to buy for a child is going to portray.”

This particular doll is part of the ‘Barbie Basics Collection’ and it is being sold through Target retail stores across the United States. Till now the manufacturer of the dolls – Mattel has been totally silent about the controversy. Despite repeated attempts nothing was known about the manufacture’s perspective on the controversy, and whether the dolls would be recalled.
