Brits say spouses cause them more stress than bosses!
June 28th, 2010 - 1:33 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 28 (ANI): For Britons, their bosses may not seem so hellish anymore as compared to their spouses, says a new research.
While 58 percent find their ‘better’ halves more stressful, only 43 per thought the same of their superior at work.
The study, part of the Philips Health n Wellbeing Index report on 3,000 people, also found that 49 per cent women were concerned about their weight and 27 per cent about their earnings.
According to reports by The Scotsman, women are also more likely to worry about obesity than cancer.
But weight becomes less of an issue with age for many.
Men, on the other hand are almost equally worried about health and salary.
Where both sexes seemed to come together was relationships with family and friends - 71 per cent of women and 61 per cent of men.
Not surprisingly, many believe that their health and well-being was worse than five years ago, but that by the time they get seriously ill, advances in medical technology will provide the cure. (ANI)
Katy Hartley, director of The Philips Centre for Health and Wellbeing, said: “The picture that emerges from the Philips Health and Wellbeing Index is a nation unhappy with its health and wellbeing but confident that the worst will not happen to them.” (ANI)
