London, Mar 7 (ANI): A new survey reveals that an increasing number of Britons are replacing TV dinners with PC dinners.

It found three-fifths of people have settled down to eat their evening meal in front of a computer, reports the Daily Mail.

And more than a fifth eat dinner hunched over a PC or laptop on a regular basis.

Many seem to be looking for tips on what to cook - as the most popular show among these people was ‘Come Dine With Me[.

A third of those polled said they were more likely to eat dinner in front of a computer than they were 12 months earlier.

And nearly a quarter (23 per cent) said their PC had replaced the TV as the main source of evening entertainment.

The survey was carried out by SeeSaw.com, a website which allows viewers to pay to watch TV online.

John Keeling, its platform controller, said: “Millions of British people cannot tear themselves away from the internet, even for dinner.

“The growth of the PC dinner is a remarkable new trend and for many across the nation, has now replaced the traditional TV dinner.” (ANI)
