015309-black_500Nov. 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a report posted at macrumors.com, the tech giant Apple will start sending out teasers for their one day stint at the age old festival known as Black Friday. The buzz is on the air that the tech-honcho will be sending out teasers of its various Mac products which includes iPod, iPhones, Macbooks et.al. Amidst the speculations, it has been rumored that this could be the “biggest sale” for Apple.

History reckons that the company had earlier taken part in Black Friday. The rumor surfaced sometime last week when a news posted on PC World stated that Apple would enthrall the tech-geeks by offering a considerably higher discounts over Macs and iPods. Strangely enough, Apple’s sales in Black Friday 2007 and 2008 were highly depressing. Reports say that during the past couple of year or so, Apple substantially failed to win over the consumers with its “Black Friday deals”. Most of the consumers were then drafted to other retailers such as Walmart, Target, K-mart et.al., thereby leaving Apple with limited sales.

Although the “deals” will only be known on the day of the sale, taking a note of last year’s Black Friday, Apple reportedly increased its sales four times than that of a normal Friday by offering exquisite discounts on Macs, iPods etc. Keeping the economic slump down in mind, high chances are there that the company would curb itself from providing higher discounts. The speculations based on the leaked Apple Ad might draw in a ray of hope for the tech aficionados, as the world looks forward to Thursday, 27th November 2009 midnight.
