kitty car Oct 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Sanrio company, who brought us ‘Hello Kitty’ thirty five years ago, is celebrating their thirty-fifth anniversary with style, and has partnered with the makers of ‘Smart’ cars to create three different ‘Hello Kitty’ designs to wrap an entire Smart car in.

The Japanese cartoon kitty wraps come along with a three year warranty at a full wrap price of seventeen hundred dollars. Those who wish to have the graphics at a cheaper price can purchase door panels for two doors at a lower price of five hundred and fifty dollars.

But many Car Tech Blog writers feels that this is not such a “Smart” idea. The graphics could be too distracting, and in a car which already offers no protection in a crash, everyone’s focus needs to be on the road.

The ‘Hello Kitty Smart Car’ is now being offered in the US for the first time.
