Terrorists blasts Mumbai’s Thane Cinema Hall basement

Gadkari TheatreA crude bomb exploded in the basement of a cinema hall in Thane in Mumbai at around 4.10 p.m., police reports confirm. The auditorium of the Gadkari Theatre in an upscale area of Thane, Mumbai’s satellite town, was evacuated hurriedly minutes after the deafening blast. The bomb which was planted on a cycle exploded ripping some parts of the basement. The bomb serious injured five people. The five sustained serious shrapnel injuries and were rushed to Thane civil hospital. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Thane) B.S. Shinde, the bomb was a low intensity explosive and it didn’t cause any extensive damage.

On Sunday, a bomb exploded just like today’s raising questions on what is happening in Mumbai. Police say these heinous acts are acts of terrorism and should not be condoned. They police commissioner has promised rapid investigation and the arrest of the perpetrators.
