Nishita Shah, Tiger, PayPal co-founder queue up to be on Forbes’ billionaires list

August 21st, 2008 - 4:26 pm ICT by Bupha Ravirot -

Nishita Shah photoIt is no surprise how would Tiger Woods, Celebrity golfer as well as the Hollywood actor, Tyler Perry sit on Forbes’ list of next-generation billionaires.

But there are some other names which might not be familiar for most of the people but they are lining up to be on the list of next generation billionaires.

Such as Nishita Shah, a 28 year-old businesswoman from Thailand. She had earlier featured in Forbes Thailand’s 40 Richest rankings with a net worth of $375 million. She is a managing director of Thailand’s diversified GP Group.

People might not know much about Nishita Shah, according to Wikipedia, very less information given about her, not even a photo but this week people around the world have been trying to search for Nishita Shah bibliography, according to US Google trends.

The world is plenty of millionaires but they are not that young. The American magazine said the average age of the 1,125 people on Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest is 61.

“…It’s impossible to predict exactly who will replace them, but don’t bet against the following people. All are young, extraordinarily successful and have ambitious plans for the future,” the magazine said.

There are some other names in the list like Elon Musk, co-founder of online payment processor PayPal, Kenji Kasahara is another techie on the list - he created Mixi, Japan’s leading portal. And there’s Michael and Xochi Birch, who started Bebo, a social networking site.

“We predict it could happen as soon as 2011 because of Tiger’s lucrative endorsement deals,” the report added.
