Bangalore, Aug 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Two of the most renowned corporate families of India are all set to came together through the much anticipated nuptials of Infosys founder and chairman NR Narayana Murthy’s son Rohan Murthy and Lakshmi Venu, the only daughter of Venu Srinivasan, the CMD of TVS Motor company. The couple belonging to two of the most highly-regarded corporate families of the country got engaged to each other in private ceremony which was held on Friday evening.

While confirming the news to the media, the Infosys founder revealed that his son and 26-year-old Lakshmi Venu got to know each other through a common friend and after about seven months of courtship, the couple decided to tie the knot. A quick fire engagement was held on Friday, just a day after Rohan Murthy proposed marriage to his lady love. Despite the fact that the news of the impending marriage has been confirmed by both the families, any details about the wedding date has not been available as yet. However, NR Narayana Murthy has divulged that both the families have left the decision of fixing the wedding date to the couple. Sources say that the wedding is likely take place in Chennai which would be followed by a grand reception in Bangalore.

The much-awaited marriage of Rohan Murthy, to the daughter of TVS Motor company CMD is being considered to be quite significant in the corporate sector of India as it would mean the coming together of three huge corporate entities which apart from Infosys and TVS, includes Tractors and Farm Equipment (TAFE) which is headed by Venu Srinivasan’s wife.
