Demonstration against Assassination of swami Laxmananand
August 29th, 2008 - 9:48 pm ICT by adminAgitated sadhus of Delhi raised their voice against brutal assassination of Swami Laxmananand Saraswati last week. Through a powerful demonstration at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi they demanded immediate arrest of the culprits & their master minds and complete ban on religious conversions in the country.
Addressing the gathering the general secretary of Delhi Sant Maha Mandal - Mahant Naval Kishor Das said that swami Laxmananand had put his whole life in welfare of the society and the tribals particularly. Many schools, temples, health centres & Goushalas were made by him. He was against the conversions which the chritian missionaries were doing since last 40 years. Many attacks were made on his life but he always remained calm and follow his path. His assassination is a handi work of the chritian terrorists promoted by the missionaries.
President of Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha Swami Raghavanand, Kalika Peethadheeswar Mahant Surendra Nath Avdhoot & mahant Ram Krishna Dass Mahatyagi were amongst those who addressed the demonstrators and submitted memorandum to the president of India in this regard.
