Barack Obama To Have Private Dinner With Manmohan Singh During India Trip

Barack ObamaDelhi, Nov 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tension and anticipation is riding high on the eve of the visit of US president Barack Obama in India. Elaborate security arrangements are in progress in both Delhi and Mumbai and the sensitive areas in India have been put on high alert prior to the visit of the US President. It has been decided that President Barack Obama will have a private dinner with Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India. The dinner will also be attended by key Politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, and almost 25 VIPs. The wife of the Indian PM will also be present at the dinner. The US first lady Michelle Obama will also be present as it has been reported.

A number of Union Ministers have also been invited to the special dinner which will have Barack Obama as the centerpiece. P Chidambaram, S M Krishna and Pranab Mukherjee have been invited to the dinner. The dinner will be held on November 7 during the India trip of US president Barack Obama at the residence of the PM of India. Omar Abdullah the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has also been invited to the dinner. Other important guests include Montek Singh Ahluwalia the Deputy Chairman Planning Commission and Shivshankar Menon the National Security Advisor.

Some prominent Bollywood stars and actors have also been invited to the dinner. Ace actor Amir Khan and musician AR Rahman have been invited to the dinner. Actress and politician Shabana Azmi and her husband Javed Akhtar have also got the invitation for attending the dinner. From the list of the guests it hardly seems a private dinner!
