Lahore , Sept 15 (ANI): Newly elected Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has said that in the past whatever steps had been taken to control the spread of terror, they have only worsened the situation.
Calling for a new dialogue to tackle terrorism, he said that he would seek an international conference on the issue at the UN General Assembly later this month.
Whatever medicine weve been using, it hasnt ended the poison, its made it worse, the Daily Times quoted Zardari as saying in an interview with The Sunday Times.
Zardari said he felt that Pakistan was being blamed for NATOs failure in Afghanistan .
If the problem was two on a scale of one to ten, now its nine. . . We players should all get together and start a new dialogue, he added. (ANI)
