Yeddyurappa-led delegation meets Jaiswal, demands more coal linkages for Karnataka
March 22nd, 2011 - 5:55 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa accompanied by Energy Minister Shoba Karandlaje called on Minister of State for Coal Sriprakash Jaiswal here on Tuesday demanding adequate supply of coal and more coal linkages for the power projects in Karnataka.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Members of Parliament from Karnataka, requested Jaiswal to ensure adequate supply of coal and more coal linkages for the power projects in Karnataka.
The Minister on his part assured Yeddyurappa that he would consider demands of the State accordingly as per the availability of coal. (ANI)
