Working journalists to get 30 per cent interim relief
October 3rd, 2008 - 5:20 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment ) New Delhi, Oct 3 (ANI): The Union Cabinet today gave its approval to notify interim enhancement of the rates of wages at the rate of 30 per cent of basic wage for the working journalists and other newspaper employees.
The Wage Boards for journalists and non-journalists recommended 30 per cent interim relief on June 28. The arrears would be given from January 2008. (ANI)
