Will Ferrell set to make Broadway debut with George Bush comedy
October 18th, 2008 - 12:57 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 18 (ANI): Hollywood comedian Will Ferrell is set to make his Broadway debut with Youre Welcome America - A final Night with George W Bush, a new solo comedy show.
According to Variety, Ferrells collaborator on films like Step Brothers and Anchorman Adam McKay will be producing the show.
He is expected to co-write the shows manuscript with McKay, reports BBC.
The production will open to the public at the Cort Theatre on 1 February, with previews from 20 January.
Meanwhile, Ferrells imitation of President George W Bush has already become the most watched hit on YouTube.
The actor’’s latest comic caper Step Brothers made its debut in the UK and Ireland box office at number one last month. (ANI)
