We will form government in Jammu and Kashmir: JaitleyDecember 3rd, 2008 - 5:18 pm ICT by IANS
Jammu, Dec 3 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Arun Jaitley Wednesday said his party is the “only nationalist party” in the fray in Jammu and Kashmir, adding “either we, or we with our allies will form the government”.The party had just one seat in the last assembly.
“BJP is the only nationalist party in the fray and we reserve the capability to form the government this time,” Jaitley told a news conference here Wednesday.
He said: “Either we, or we with our allies will form the government.”
“Everything would be clear after the results are declared,” he added.
The BJP is contesting 67 seats. The results would be declared Dec 28. The seventh and final phase of the polls would be over Dec 24.
Jaitley said that there was an urgent need for unity among the nationalist votes. “These votes should not get divided in the national interest.”
