Nagpur, Dec.26 (ANI): Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti on Sunday said that one should not enter into the politics with an unhealthy mind.
Interacting with mediapersons about her rejoining the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), Bharti said: “We should not enter into the politics with unhealthy mind. The mind should be very healthy. So, I asked Nitin Gadkari and Advani for the same reason only.”
“The person who had courage to challenge Sonia Gandhi, who scarified her life for national flag, the person who gave a lesson to Congress number second leader. I mean whatever challenges I have been given, I faced it and gave positive results and now as a result of that entire how can I forget the time span of five years? It will be difficult for me to forget that,” she added.
She further said entering politics with an unhealthy mind will be dangerous and would think to rejoin the BJP party.
“The unhealthy politics in the unhealthy mind set, combination will be very dangerous. That is why I want my heart to be clean and I want to win my heart and should forget those things which had taken place before, let those wounds fill up which got deep in these 5 years and after that I would think about coming into politics,” Bharti said on the sidelines of an event in Nagpur.
Uma Bharti, who was expelled from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), recently confirmed that she is willing to accept the proposal of rejoining the party as suggested by its senior leader Lal Krishna Advani.
Bharti had parted ways with BJP in 2005 and founded Bharatiya Janshakti Party, an entity from which she had resigned in March 2010. (ANI)
