Wanted LeT militant killed in J-K encounter
March 28th, 2011 - 9:55 pm ICT by ANIBaramulla, Mar 28 (ANI): A wanted Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant from Pakistan was gunned down in an encounter with the security forces at Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Monday.
According to the police, the LeT militant identified as Chacha Talha was killed in an encounter with the security forces at Reban in Sopore town.
It has been reported that the gun battle broke out after security forces launched an operation following information about the presence of militants in the area. (ANI)
