Vice-President Ansari to inaugurate programme for Indian origin parliamentarians

The Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs is organizing the event with a view to providing comprehensive presentations on different aspects on issues of concern and interest to the country.

The objective behind the programme is to provide visiting parliamentarians with up-to-date and detailed information on a canopic range of issues.

The first group comprising 16 Parliamentarians from United Kingdom, the European Parliament and the United States of America is visiting India from October 23 to 30.

Following is the list of the Parliamentarians who would be in Delhi and Mumbai for the programme:-

United Kingdom:

8. Lord Kamlesh Patel (Crossbench)

9. Lord Karan Bilimoria (Crossbench)

10. Lord Navnit Dholakia (Libdem)

11. Lord Diljit Rana (Crossbench)

12. The Rt. Hon. Virender K. Sharma, MP

The parliamentarians would call on External Affairs Ministeri Pranab Mukherjee on October 26. They would also participate in Indo-US CEO Forum to be inaugurated by Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on October 29 in Mumbai. (ANI)
