Vice-President Ansari presented with traditional pankha ahead of Phoolwalon Ki Sair festival

Many States send their Pankhas ahead of the three-day Phoolwalon Ki Sair festival. The festival, which promotes Hindu-Muslim brotherhood begins on October 25. This annual festival was revived by late Yogeshwar Dayal in 1961.

Ansari said that the ‘Phool Walo ki Sair’ is a symbol of the composite culture of Delhi, but its message of peace unity and prosperity should be spread nation-wide. He said that this festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness in our lives. He wished this festival a great success. (ANI)
