USIEF announces Fulbright distinguished awards in teaching fellowship program
December 1st, 2009 - 1:17 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Dec.1 (ANI): The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) is seeking applications from Indian citizens who are full time teachers teaching at any level (primary, middle or secondary), or administrators/academic coordinators who spend 50% of their time in classroom teaching, to attend a semester long program at a US university between August-December 2010.
The fellowships include roundtrip economy airfare for the participant, lodging and meals for the entire grant period, maintenance allowance for food, accident and sickness coverage, J-1 visa support and other applicable allowances.
Teachers with a bachelor’s degree and teachers training degree with at least five years of teaching experience may apply. Program details and application form can be downloaded at www.usief.org.in.
