US universities reach out to Delhi students
October 6th, 2009 - 7:19 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Oct.6 (ANI): Representatives of 17 American educational institutions will participate in a U.S. University Fair to be held in New Delhi on October 8, from 1:30 to 5:30 pm, at the Fulbright House, 12 Hailey Road.
Organized by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE), the fair is free and open to students and parents interested in obtaining information about studying in the United States.
The participating schools represent the full offering of the U.S. educational system, including large state institutions and private universities with programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Information about academic programs, as well as guidance sessions with admission officers from the universities and colleges, will help students make informed choices about educational institutions and programs.
A consular officer from the U.S. Embassy will also give an informative presentation on student visas at 4:30 pm, a US Embassy release said. (ANI)
