New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): The Union Home Ministry has cautioned the Maharashtra Government about a possible hijack at the Mumbai airport and has asked the authorities to keep an active vigilance on the private aircrafts.
State Home Minister Jayant Patil informed that the Centre, on Wednesday, issued an advisory to the Maharashtra government and stressing on the need of sanitising parking bays of small aeroplanes and helicopters besides ensuring their safety.
“The advisory states that care should be taken to ensure that aeroplanes and helicopters do not fall into the hands of terrorists,” Patil said. (ANI)
